Contract manufacturing of electronic equipment

We manufacture electronic equipment (EE) and the relevant housings according to the customer’s documentation. Herewith, if there are design errors in the documentation provided to us, we can offer options for their correction at the stage of a pilot series or large-scale manufacture.

The complete production cycle of VOLHON JSC includes the following operations:

• design/redesign based on available component parts
• production of printed circuit boards with functional test
• set-up
• process training (including climatic one by thermal cycles)
• acceptance and delivery trails (ADT)
• delivery to the customer
• commissioning
• after-sales service
• additional work:
  • products certification
  • installation at the customer’s site
  • operations to identify the causes of failures and start up the electrical equipment system.

Set-up

The company employs skilled engineers with wide experience in the development of electronic equipment (EE) and implementation at various facilities.

We can eliminate the shortcomings identified at different stages of electronic equipment manufacture.

Trails

Acceptance and delivery trails, real check of electronic systems serviceability are perhaps the most time-consuming part in the manufacturing process.

We perform the process training, including the climatic one. The climatic training with thermal cycles (thermal shocks — cold/warm) allows identifying cold solder joints and poorly assembled assemblies, sections and poor-quality microchips.

To make the tests cost-effective and efficient, we use automated test benches. We developed an automated platform for testing the customer’s EE for the Demikhovo Engineering Works. We also use similar test benches at our own production.

Automated platform for EE testing

The system tests the board in accordance with the task. The bench provides for point monitoring of board inputs and outputs and makes a decision on the board compliance with the terms of reference or the test program and procedures.

As a result, we get an electronic database of protocols, which allows us to provide the customer with information about the statistics on the reliability/serviceability of these boards at any time. The equipment allows assessing the scope of work done and keeping records of failures/rejects.

Warranty

Standard warranty applies to all products supplied by us.

Extended warranty is useful in case the customer’s products assembled into the system are inoperative. In this case, the customer contacts us, and we rectify these shortcomings.
